• Segments 1–2 of the sand: slopes match exactly (20,0) -> C1 continuity (position & first derivative agree).
• Segments 2–3 of the water waves: slope vectors (10,10) and (20,20) are parallel but differ in magnitude -> G1 continuity (tangent direction matches).
